I own the 970, but the spacing is the same. You may have issues with the ram if you have tall ram, but the fan mount on the Hyper 212 are plastic clips in a groove on the fins and it will slide up to clear the heatsinks just fine. Just don't get super tall ram. You can also mount the fan on the rear of the heatsink to avoid any ram interference. Or put two fans on if you wish. just watch the ram height.
Also, I prefer the EVO version as the copper heatpipes are right next to each other forming a solid copper base, while the others have aluminum brackets between each heatpipe.
Those snipers should clear just fine, but you may need to raise the fan a tiny amount. I was able to lower the fan after installing the ram for better fan coverage. Just raise the fan when you need to remove/change ram.
If you want these ripjawsx are nice. They have 8-9-9-24 for tighter timings. But the real world performance difference is negligible between them and the snipers. I just bought them to use with my Llano APU as the graphics need as much memory speed as possible.
