The APU is limiting the maximum speed your RAM can achieve.
If i am not mistaking the cheaper APU-s do 1333 Mhz maximum opposed to the top dogs from A10 APU series that can go even 2000 Mhz +.

You should of paired a better APU with that motherboard to take advantage of the RAM speed.

Technically speaking memory adjustments are made  in the BIOS/UEFI where some settings should be present to adjust the RAM speed.
If it s UEFI i can t tell you exactly where you find the setting as i am not using UEFI on any of my boards.
Over & Out !

AMD FX (APU-s included) users should install - KB2645594 & KB2646060 under Windows 7
