Hello, I would like to know the correct procedure to install AHCI in Windows 7 64 bits.
I installed Windows 7 and there was no problem detecting the hard drives.
There are different drivers in Gigabyte´s page:
1) GIGABYTE SATA2 RAID DRIVER
2) GIGABYTE SATA2 PREINSTALL DRIVER (FOR AHCI/RAID MODE)
3) INTEL SATA RAID DRIVER
As long as I know, 1) and 2) are for Gigabyte's SATA2 ports (white ports), and 3) is only for Intel's SATA2 ports (blue ports).
So, how can I install the "preinstall driver" after Windows installation?. Is it correct to do it this way? I don´t have a floppy disk.
