Intel Rapid Storage won't post for UEFI RAID setup

Hello.

I have installed 2 Western Digital Red 3TB Hard Drives. (Data not OS)

I want them to be RAID+0 utilizing Intel Rapid Storage on Windows 8.1 64.

I follow the manual:

SATA Controllers: Enabled
SATA Mode: RAID
OS Type: Windows 8
CSM Support: Never

I save and exit... as I need to get back in the BIOS and select Intel Rapid Storage Technology.

But no post, just a blank screen every time.

So I am really lost.

I can set it up legacy (Ctrl+I)  But then it wont show up in my Intel Rapid Storage Software, like my SSD does.

Mushkin 16GB DDR3-1600
Mushkin Chronos Deluxe 480GB
2x WD RED 3TB (Recognized in disk management and error free)
Asus GTX650 Ti 1GB

Operating system (at least 2 indentical drives) must be in RAID also.........or.....
Install new OS on existing Western Digital Red 3TB Hard Drives....make separate partition for this...100-150 GB.

Hi,

I want my OS on the SSD.  And then 6TB RAID+0 for video streaming.

I have figured out how to enter Intel Rapid Storage in my BIOS. (Removed Video Card)

But the RAID Array always gets messed up in Windows.

I have Windows installed on a GPT format SSD for UIEF performance.

Then I shut down. Plug in the 2 HDD's.

Boot into Bios and set the 2 HDD's as RAID+0.

But then in windows the array is corrupted.  It displays 2 separate drives, one 6TB and unable to initialize, the second is fine and 3TB.  So windows isn't accepting the RAID.

Do I need to install windows on an MBR format?  And forget about UIEF?

2 indentical SSD in RAID...for OS....the best way.
You can install OS in GPT format or MBR.....doesn't matter.
