I recently have purchased a Gigabyte B75M-D3H Motherboard. The motherboard is a wonderful no doubt but I cant seem to control my CPU fan, the motherboard having a 4-pin male connector and the CPU Fan having a 4 pin female connector I should be able to control it correct? That does not seem to the case. I have tried the PWM slope and I am unsure on how to actually get my CPU to either increase or decrease in speed. The fan settings in general seem to have no effect on it at all.. The cooler I am using is a CM Hyper TX3.
I will not install easy tune as it causes me to BSOD upon restart, ultimately I have to reinstall the OS because the system restore fails to restore for whatever unknown reason.
I greatly appreciate your help and time in reading this. I hope I cant get this issue resolved and many others.
