Gigabyte N3150N-D3V - Missing M.2 Fixture Bracket
« on: June 24, 2016, 02:24:02 pm »
Why is the Gigabyte N3150-D3V missing an essential bracket that should enable us to properly screw and secure our M.2 Wi-Fi cards to our motherboard?

Having the ability to properly secure our M.2 cards helps reduce the risk of electrical shorts circuits, disconnects or relating hardware failures that stems from having inadequate ports or loose connections. So why has this been left out?

Every other Gigabyte motherboard has the ability to screw and secure M.2, Msata or MiniPCI devices to the point where they're expected to be plugged for obvious reasons.

The M.2 port on the Gigabyte N3150-D3V in particular uses a port which is position in a way that makes it even more vulnerable to damage than most other M.2 ports and Gigabyte still haven't provided a supporting bracket point.

What's going on?
