Gigabyte GTX 1080 Windforce questions.

Hello,

I recently bougth my Gigabyte GTX 1080 Windforce and i would like to know if i am good with it. In games when the usage is at 99-100% the GPU temperature reaches 70-73 degrees Celsius. Is that a safe temperature? What is the max safe temperature for this card?

Also I used a DVI cable until now, but i decided to test the other cables too. After I tested the Displayport cable I have seen in nVidia Control Panel that it adds another set of resolutions in the "Ultra HD" section(see picture below)

The 1080p in the Ultra HD section has only 60Hz and the one in the PC section has 144Hz. My monitor is 1080p@144Hz.

What is the difference between these two resolutions?
Does the cable affect the performance in games? What sould i use DVI or Displayport?
