Well I must admit that never even crossed my mind :-[ I was just assuming that if you had onboard video as an option it would work! Anyway let us know if that is the problem.

You won't believe how stupid this was!  So I plugged my card back in as suggested by gigabyte, and I still got the same error.  So I was sitting there frustrated and just for the heck of it, I plugged the card into the other PCI-E 16X slot!  There are 2 PCI-E 16x slot on the H55M.  And it booted up right away!  I plugged the 2nd stick of ram in and that worked too.  I never thought there was a difference between the 2 slots.  But after I read the manual closely,  one is PCI-E 16x at 16x and the other is at 1X.  The 1X slot doesnt' work with my card for some reason.  No idea why.  I picked that slot originally because that slot gave me a little more room in my case.

Oh well.  lesson learn.  always try the first PCI slot.  Thanx for all the tips and help.

I'm using same type of motherboard and memory...

I'm having problem making the memory run in 1600MHz.
Somewhat having same problem like this post:
http://www.gskill.us/forum/showthrea...ight=h55m-usb3

I can't make the Board accept the XMP = profile 1
Tells that the system has experienced boot failures....

I wonder how can I setup my Mobo and Memory to the fullest...

Now, I'm also encountering COLD BOOT?
Somtimes, Keyboard and Mouse not responding on 1st Boot after Shutdown...
Can't even get to BIOS settings and slows boot-up, sometimes doesn't even boot.

Help please. Is my memory not OC compatible?

BTW, here my PC specs:
MB: Gigabyte GA-H55M-USB3
CPU: Intel™ Core i7 860
CPU COOLER: Scythe Yasha
RAM: 4gb ddr3-1600 G.Skill ECO (F3-12800CL7D-4GBECO) CL7
PSU: HEC Raptor 500W

My initial reaction would be that, although you don't list all your hardware, your power supply isn't big enough for the job.I take it that you have a decent graphics card also and several drives. It would be too much for a 500W PSU to manage. List the rest of your components and I will be able to give you a better idea of what to get.

Not sure if the following BIOS setting (GA-H55M-USB3 Rev. 2.0 user manual - pp49) will help...

Right well thanks for posting all your specs. I would still go along with my initial thought that the PSU is struggling with the load. I don't know how old it is but if it's not new then you could be looking at a lot less than the quoted 500W output because of capacitor droop etc. I would certainly recommend trying another, larger one if you can. But make sure that if you make a purchase that it is a good quality one and single rail if possible.
Try updating your BIOS to the latest version too, I don't know which one you have installed at the moment but that might help. Do these things and then post back.

OK, i'll be updating my PSU to a higher one.
I'll soon post for any updates.

Good idea in my opinion. I have checked up on your PSU and it in not PFC and it is dual rail for the 12v.It has only a total of 38 amps across both rails and isn't very power efficient at 76% quoted.

The PSU you got is a good one , personally I would have gone a bit higher, I have the same model but the HX850. Just gives you a bit more headroom.

The next thing then is to try building it up outside of the case. Use a cardboard box or similar to lay the motherboard on and just fit the CPU/heatsink/fan assembly, buzzer and memory and see what beep codes you get when you try and boot.

Hmmm.. no beep sounds since my case doesn't have a speaker...
Is there some Light beep codes? where can I see them?

BTW, what other DDR3 memory you suggest that can run up to 1600Mhz?
100% Compatible. Tried and Tested. Just a query...

I would advise you to get a buzzer(extremely cheap) and fit it so you know what is going on.
