Killer E2500 + Intel Gigabit LAN

Hi I have bought an AORUS Intel Z370 Gaming 7 Coffee Lake ATX Motherboard it has Killer E2500 + Intel Gigabit LAN does it matter what one I plug into.
Intel Core i7 8700K Unlocked Coffee Lake OEM CPU/Processor
AORUS Gaming 7 Intel Z370 (Socket 1151) DDR4 ATX Motherboard
Corsair 32GB ( 4x8) DDR4 Vengeance LPX 3000MHz Memory
Zotac NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 8GB AMP! Extreme Turing Graphics Card
Samsung 970 EVO PLUS 500GB M.2, Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1 TB

Yes and No. 

The upper port should be Intel, lower Killer.  Comes down to preference.  I prefer Intel over killer.  You can't team them.  Just a word of caution.  Do not install the cFOS utility on the MB CD.  If you have installed it, uninstall it. 

The killer comes with a network manager application of its own.  I have application control disabled, but am not using it currently.  I'd rather have two NICs the same brand that could be teamed over 2 different brands. 

I did a side by side comparison when I got my Z97 and the Intel performed better over the killer consistently.  The only tests I did were file transfers between my PC and NAS.  This is all that matter to me really.  Just a matter of preference.
