Z97X-SOC Force. upgrade to W10, disable onboard NIC?

I am going to upgrade to W10 and wonder if I would be better off disabling the Killer e2200 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller (NDIS 6.20) and installing a newer PCIe network adapter. The Killer e2200 is no longer supported and finding a useable W10 driver for it seems to be an issue for some (reading here).

What say?
