Just completed my first build and had a blast.
Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Rev 2.0
i7-930
Corsair 3 * 2MB PC12800
XFX Radeon 5850
Caviar Green 1.5 TB *2
Liteon 12X DVD
Antec EarthWatts 500
Windows 7, 64-bit
My BIOS is set to boot off of HD first, then DVD, then USB. When I boot the system off of the HD, it hangs on Verifying DMI pool data. If I set to boot off of DVD, and during that process, switch to the HD, I get the same Verifying DMI pool data message and then Windows loads To be clear, the system will try and boot of a CD, prompt me to confirm that is my intent, I ignore it, and it goes to the HD and everything is fine.
I've tried resetting the CMOS and have updated my drivers. I've tried googling the issue, but haven't found the same issue yet.
I'd be grateful for any guidance. Thanks much for your help!
