Hi there,

I doubt you will be able to get hold of the F3B BIOS as I would assume, from the number that it was a BETA BIOS and checking through the available downloads it doesn't appear at all.

I would think it has been removed because there was discovered to be a problem with it which was resolved with the F4 BIOS and I have come across this a couple of times.

In fact I want to unlock the 4th core of  PhenomII x3 720 and I heard that this bios is able.
Can you help?

You already have the option to unlock CPU Cores in the BIOS.

Advanced clock calibration (ACC) is a feature originally available for Phenom CPU's, particularly for Black Edition. It was later discovered that this functionality has the possibility of unlocking the supposedly disabled cores of some Phenom II X2/X3, AMD Athlon II X2/X3, and AMD Sempron locked cores / cache. (with BIOS support).

Advanced Clock Calibration
Allows you to determine whether to enable Advanced Clock Calibration when using an AMD Black
Edition CPU. We recommend that you enhance heat dissipation for the CPU VRM area if you
enable this function.
>>Disabled -- Disables this function. (Default)
>>Auto -- Lets the BIOS to configure the settings to defaults.
>>All Cores -- Configures Advanced Clock Calibration for all CPU cores.
>>Per Core -- Individually configures Advanced Clock Calibration for each CPU core.

2) GA-990FXA-UD3 Rev. 1.1, FX-8350
3) GA-AM1M-S2P, Sempron 3850 Kabini

Hey, dont copy-paste me the theory that I already know :)

1) Since this deafult bios(B8) has this ACC option then this means that its the suitable bios, so I dont need look for another?

2) If I pick "hybrid" and "Auto" but gives me blue screen and restart, then this means that there's no hope?

Hi there,

if your BIOS has the ACC option then yes, you should be able to use it to unlock your processor. However, it is not always straightforward and a lot depends on the actual ability of the CPU.

I haven't had much success with core unlocking on my Gigabyte boards but the same processor has unlocked on boards by other manufacturers. So far Gigabyte have not offered any explanation as to why this is so other than to say that they can unlock their test CPU's and don't believe there is a problem with the BIOS.

Although it is talking about the BE 555 CPU and 8 series motherboards you might want to look through this thread: http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php/topic,2409.0.html

Ok, as I said since I choose "hybrid" and "auto" but no any unlock, then I guess theres no luck for me.

Note that your 2nd link has 3 mobos different than mine. Options are the same.
