OK! I have just reconfigured it without any of the Renesas USB3.0 drivers and the ports work fine as USB2.0. I even ran the setup with the USB controlled keyboard and mouse plugged into the USB3.0 port.I didn't have anything that was 1.1 or older so couldn't test mwith that but there shouldn't be any difference as the standards are backwards compatible.I must admit to not being sure myself after you had challenged me but it seems I was correct.
