Audio, Chipset, Realtek LAN Driver, from the sata raid section(only Intel SATA RAID Driver, i dont need sata 2 drivers right?) and i dont need usb 3 i have it disable from the bios i dont need it, i working with usb 2, and gsata ports usb.

i need somethink else?

If you disable the USB3 in the BIOS you realise that you will lose the use of those ports also ?

Apart from that you should be fine. ;)

No problem! If you want to use those ports but don't need the USB3.0 capability then just leave them enabled but don't load the USB3.0 drivers and you will be able to use them as normal USB2.0 ports.

The USB3.0 ports should work but only at USB2.0 speed. You only need to enable USB Legacy support in the BIOS to be able to use the mouse or keyboard if they are USB  before Windows loads the drivers for them.

I would think the NEC USB 3 drivers would need to be installed to use the ports at all. No driver no ports.

Possibly you are correct, I will have to try it without drivers and see if it is still available. I will test and post back later.

OK! I have just reconfigured it without any of the Renesas USB3.0 drivers and the ports work fine as USB2.0. I even ran the setup with the USB controlled keyboard and mouse plugged into the USB3.0 port.

I didn't have anything that was 1.1 or older so couldn't test mwith that but there shouldn't be any difference as the standards are backwards compatible.

I must admit to not being sure myself after you had challenged me but it seems I was correct. ;)

I wouldn't have expected the ports to behave differently as the architecture is the same. Possibly it is down the the device installed. :-\
