USB Microphone Trouble Shooting

USB Microphone Trouble Shooting
« on: October 22, 2012, 08:28:57 am »
My USB Microphone is unable to receive sound. In 'Sound' settings in Control Panel, Microphone USB PnP Sound Device is only detecting 1 bar voice (unable to record sound or use voice chat). Microphone-Realtek HD Audio is not at all being active. In another computer, the same mic device is working well in the place of Microphone-Realtek HD Audio. Note: The device is being detected and the computer isn't able to identify any problems with it. But its only receiving 1 green bar in the settings.
f you know any solution then please share... :)

Hi

It sounds (no pun intended) like it is a problem with your settings if the hardware is working alright in another machine. Make sure that the Microphone is enabled and not muted anywhere.

Is it set as the default device for input ?

Does the rest of the sound system work alright on your machine ?
