p67a ud3 b3 boot problem
« on: February 19, 2013, 08:48:27 am »
Hi!

I'd like to get some advise about my ocd p67a ud3-b3.  I have an i7-2600k D2 stepping CPU , and 2x Geil Evo Corsa 4Gb (GOC38GB2133C11DC) memories in the Mobo. Bios is F9. I was playing around with OC for a while, finally got a stable config as follows: multiplier at 45, overvoltage enabled, vcore auto, LLC enabled. Prime95 was running for couple of hours without a problem, everything seems fine. After turning the power off, restarting the PC I get one or two bootloops with the sound, and opening the bios I see the the red message, that boot failed due to OC. If I dont go to BIOS, it boots up with fail safe defaults. If I press del, go to bios, and I reload my saved CMOS with the above mentioned cfg, and save&exit, the PC boots up without any problems. Its stable and works fine.

Any ideas? I tried to turn the HAlt function off as well under Standard Cmos settings, but it didnt help.
