GA-A75-UD4H "loading operating system..."
« on: June 03, 2013, 12:54:34 am »
I've got a GA-A75-UD4H and no matter what I do, it gets stuck on Loading Operating System.  I know the RAM is fine, the CPU is fine, the Hard Drives are all fine.  I've checked them all on another system.  This all seemed to start when I was having problems with my DVD drive being on any other port than Sata 5.  I've since removed it and am trying to boot the system from a USB thumb drive.  This motherboard has been nothing but a nightmare.  I know there have been many posts about "Loading Operating System", but no real solutions.

I've tried all the drives on RAID, IDE, etc...  I've tried everything I can think of.

Anyone have any ideas?

First thing i would do is strip computer to basics, as in 1 stick ram, default bios, if you have onboard video use it and dont use video card, any usb device do not use when starting, external or internal, if you use more than 1 monitor disconnect all but 1. I have ran into that problem just nbot on that board and it has always been hardware or driver related. Mainly hardware. I hope this helps report back what you did and if you would be so kind list all hardware you are using, CPU, ram, hard drive , operating system, monitors, and any sound cards or add on cards, video card and so on.

Plenty of people on here that might help narrow it down.
