OS on separate drive to RAID array

OS on separate drive to RAID array
« on: June 18, 2013, 01:15:22 pm »
Hello,

I want to set up my windows 8  OS on a separate SSD to a 3 disk raid 5 array. I have tried to follow the instruction in the manual, but it will not allow me to install on the separate SSD.

I would love some direction if anyone has tried this.

Rig details: Sniper m5 with Core i5-4670 OC @4.4GHz 8Gb RAM

Thanks

What is it telling you when you go to install it. I had a problem where it took me trying 3 different DVD drives before it would install.

What is it showing you when you go to install it too. Does it show you all the drives. Plus there can not be anything on the SSD to start with.

Windows 8 is already installed on the SSD. I can clear that out and try again.
