Trying to resolve wierd crashing issue
« on: October 27, 2013, 04:54:04 am »
Trying to get help in resolving this issue. Below is my original post on tomshardware

-----original post begins-----
I recently got back a motherboard that I sent in to RMA after the original board from newegg to gigabyte because the sata ports weren't picking up anything connected to them

I seem to be having a weird freezing/ restart issue that happens at totally random intervals and when it does I usually just restart and its back to normal. I am very sure that its not a cooling issue or connection issue.

One point in time though it froze and when I restarted I got memory beeps.
1) I tested each slot twice, once with each stick of memory, still got beeps.
2) I then tried another separate memory same 4mb but 1333mhz of generic memory still got beeps.
3) I then went back and tried with one of the g. skill and it detected.

This has occurred only once since I've got this board.

My PC specs:
COOLER MASTER HAF 912 Case
GIGABYTE Z77X-UP4TH rev 1.0 Motherboard bios is at f9
EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB Video Card
CORSAIR HX650 Power Supply
Intel Core i5-3570K Processor
8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 Memory G.SKill 1600mhz
Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD
COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 EVO CPU Cooler

Any help in diagnosing this would be most appreciated

----Original post ends------

Since then I've was able to do a 8 hour blend test session in prime95 with NO ERRORS OR WARNINGS.

I did a sfc scannow and still no errors

A hour and a half later I still get random restart/ 0x101 errors

My current voltages are as through hardware monitor
