Gigabyte G41 combo-chipset temperature

Gigabyte G41 combo-chipset temperature

Hi everybody,

Before several days I install new motherboard gigabyte g41 combo ,it working fine
But suddenly it stop working , only black screen & cpu fan on ,I disconnect the Ram
Modules and the display adapter , still the same issue , also disconnect the HDD &
DVD drive and make clear to the CMOS but no luck , I noticed a high temperature on
The chipset when I touch the heat dink I feel unusual heat and the issue the same
Can any one advice please , is this high temp may mean physical damage waiting

Some chipsets have high temps it isn't unusual. 50c is the normal high and the normal low is about 28 to 32c. Do you have a speaker hooked to it and if so what is the beep count?

Hi,

Yes I connet a speaker with it but no sound from the buzzer at all
Just black screen and the fan of CPU spin.

One thing to look at is the caps on the board to make sure one didn't start leaking.

Also look for a bent pin on cpu socket. Or when you boot check keyboard lights and mouse to make sure they are lite up.

Hi guys,

I bought this motherboard before a week before it get this issue it is new
The capacitors were fine no damage with them , the light of the mouse working properly but the keyboard light stays on power only not the three
Lights blinking as computer boots.
