f2a88xm-d3h odd temperature readings

Hi guys, it's my first post here.

I recently built a new system with my first GB board.

Everything is running fine other than temperature readings.

They're jumping around between 7 and 64c

There is no seeming pattern or consistent to it. In the bios it reports a steady 352

Has anyone come across this with this board and the 860k?

I'm running bios f6. I was originally on f7 but it was even worse on there.

I would go off the bios readings for now. A steady 35 is good. Assuming you didn't mean to put 352 at which point the board would of fried long before then.

A lot of software programs report wrong and they are slow to update software programs. My hardware monitor doesn't impress me at all as the voltages are all off. The temps seem better but are reported 2c to 5c higher than bios reports them.

It was meant to be 35c auto correct got me.

My main issue is the fan going mental changing speeds in windows.

If I uninstall easy tune would the fans be adjusted from bios readings?

The thing is what cooler are you running? In windows the the fan shouldn't be going nuts. I could see that in the bios but not windows. I build a lot of the FM2+ computers. They do run a little hotter than most CPU's.

It's a seidon 120V.

The fan speeds up and slows as the reading goes from 17-50+ in the space of a couple of seconds

What I would do for a test is put on the cooler that came with it. Just to see if it does the same thing. Yes it will run a little hot, but it will tell you if there is something wrong with the other cooler.

I tried this a few hours ago as gigabyte suggested it in my support ticket and its the same behaviourunfortunately.

I also tried a different cpu to check out wasn't the 860k that was being odd and it was the same with a 7850k too.

I'll wait and see what else gigabyte have to say in the support ticket then possibly rma the board.
