GA-MA770T-UD3 beep

Hello,
I have a problem with this mainboard.I recently installed 2GB Patriot Signature PSD32G13332 memory module,and i can not start the computer.
Speaker on the computer beeps continuously and I do not have a picture on the monitor...I guess it is a memory?
I checked the site that the motherbord support my memory and discovered it was not on the list of supported.
In service where I bought mainbord and memory have only DDR3 2GB 1333MHz Corsair Value CL9 (VS2GB1333D3 G).
Therefore...my question is:whether the memory to work on my MA770T-UD3 and solve the problem with beeping?

Hi there,

If beeps are short ones there could be a problem with the power supply. (check connections and power rating)

If the beeps are long ones then there could be a problem with the Graphics card. (Remove Graphics card and re-install)

Was PC working before you installed the new memory or is it a new build?
What PSU are you using?
What Graphics Card are you using?

My system is new build,and these are the components:

VGA ATI Radeon 5750 Powercolor 1GB/DDR5,/DVI/HDMI/128bit                
DVD+/-RW Samsung SH-S223C SATA/black,DVD Multi Writer                      
500W Silverstone Strider, ST50F-ES  
Xigmatek Asgard, black  

The beeps are long ones.I insert a couple of times my graphic card and again the same beeps.
I checked the graphics on another computer and it works fine.
I checked all the cables 100 times...all connectors are in place.

Hi there,

Is it possible to try a different Graphics card? Long beeps indicate graphics problem and, although you say the new card works in a different PC, need to see if another graphics card will work on your new mobo. (could be a PCIe slot fault).

Also which revision of the GA-MA770T-UD3 do you have? (rev 1.0 or 1.1)

I have rev 1.0....
fan on the graphics turns I guess it means to work...or not?

I can borrow graphic card..but i think I have not explained well beeps.
It goes like this beeeeeppppp beeepppp 2sec.pause and again seame..... i try later to record.

ah, 1 long beep & 1 short beep = Memory or Motherboard error.

can you remove memory stick and try and boot...... what happens?

my fault... because you can not hear well  i need to write precise

I think these are two beeps and then pause....sorry

if 2 beeps are same length then this could be CMOS error.

Try clearing CMOS and see if this solves issue. If you are not sure how to clear CMOS check your Mobo manual. ( in the English manual it is page 91).

I tried to clear CMOS and alll all remained the same

Way to go, nice recording! 

It does sound like bios is reporting a Graphics Card error, so if you can borrow a Graphics card and try that it might help narrow down the problem.

Hello!here's me again
I thought that I managed to find another graphic card,but I failed.
So I took the computer to a service and they suspect the memory...they say that the memory module may be defective.
They have a bad experience with this memory.One of the two modules say that is defective or not working properly!!!???
They also told me that this mainboard is sensitive in terms of memory support...I will see at the end of what will be
Now I can do is wait ... but I think maybe the problem still Invalid PCIE slot or mainbord.....as you doubt

Hi,

One of the biggest problems with any fault is actually finding the component that is causing the problem and with a new build it is often more confusing because you expect all the parts to be OK. It is often a process of elimination and testing each of the components until you find the one that is faulty. The beeps that you recorded do seem to point to a Graphics error but this could well be caused by a bad memory module.

I hope that the problem is sorted quickly for you and that you get your PC up and running. Let us know if it is the memory as it would be nice to know.

No problem .... when I found out what the problem is get back you immediately....
The main problem is how you said that is the computer is new build...and I do not have the necessary parts for testing.
