z87ud5h severe bios problem

Hello i hope someone can answer a question for me... i tried updating the bios using @bios and it froze.. i left it for an hour then turned it off and bricked it i think.. i messaged customer service and they didn't quite understand my situation. Is there any way to flash the bios when it isnt displaying anything on screen. I have 4 debug codes 15. 36. 45 d3.. please help as i am at a loss with no machine

You can try to kick in the backup bios. Turn off the power by the PSU and unplug it. Wait 30 sec and plug it back in. But this time when you turn the power back on. Hold in the power and then turn the power on. Wait Till it turns on and shut down again holding the power button in. Than restart the computer again and see what happen sometimes it works and sometimes doesn't.

Do you mean a Z97X-UD5H motherboard as there isn't a Z98 UD5H?

sorry i titled the post wrong i have fixed the title now, i have tried these methods and i am currently trying the method where i short the pins in the backup cmos, but this is not working either, i think that both the backup and main bios have been damaged, the mobo isnt displaying anything on screen,

If I remember correctly this motherboard has two BIOS switches so that you can swap between BIOS chips. Have you tried swapping to the Back-up BIOS using these?

Thank you for the reply.. yes i think both bios are corrupted..i can see the mobo switching between bios when i boot up by looking at the bios chips led lights.. I'm lost at what to try next as neither bios will work. Does anyone know if it could be sent off to gigabyte for a repair if even possible.. i have also looked into buying a new bios chip. This is possible but is a last resort before giving up. 2 weeks my pc has been down..il never use @bios again lol

All you can do is try to RMA it. I don't know what country you are in but here in the USA you setup your RMA by going to the support page. This is the USA site http://ggcs.gigabyte.com/GIGABYTE-RMA-Login-User.aspx
