GA-M68SM-s2l dead after BIOS update
« on: June 25, 2015, 09:28:12 am »
Hi,

I have recently updated the BIOS version of this motherboard, from F5 to F8.
I used Q-FLASH utility, and seems all was correct. The BIOS update archive was verified.
Q-FLASH updated, and a success message was shown.

When I rebooted the PC, the PC does NOTHING. Even I remove the RAM, and the motherboard doesn't beep.

What's could goes wrong? I followed every steps in the motherboard's manual.

Thanks for your attention

GA-M68M-S2P (rev. 1.0)
GA-M68SM-S2L (rev. 1.0)
It is possible to flash the file for a different motherboard. Double check the model number.

BIOS CHIP GIGABYTE GA-MA790FX-DQ6, GA-M68SM-S2L

See if you can remove the BIOS chip if you want to try replacing it.
1) GA-Z97X-Gaming 7, G3258,
2) GA-990FXA-UD3 Rev. 1.1, FX-8350
3) GA-AM1M-S2P, Sempron 3850 Kabini
