Can a GIGABYTE® GA G41M ES2L motherboard carry a sapphire r7 240 ?

You can try it, but I myself wouldn't try it. You would be better off trying with a 2.0 card like 6950 or in that series of cards. If you can find somebody that has a r7 240 in that series card. I would try it first before I would buy one.
