970A-DS3P SecureBoot gone missing?
« on: September 05, 2015, 11:22:20 am »
So I recently noticed that msinfo32 is showing my secureboot state as not supported, most odd considering it used to work.

Booted into the UEFI and sure enough, no option for it to be seen.

I can only assume it was removed when I upgraded to F2j a good while ago (which fixed the restarting issues), but why, and more importantly when is it coming back?

I don't see any mention of Secure Boot in your MB manual.  You do want to have Windows 8 selected as your OS type...  Page 22 of your manual.  Default is "other OS" which is going to provide Legacy Option ROM support.

>OS Type
Allows you to select the operating system to be installed. Set this item to Windows 8 for Windows 8
operating system. (Default: Other OS)

You'd know best about what was there prior to F2j, but there's no mention of it.
