Sleep issues with GA-Q170M-HD3.
« on: June 11, 2016, 06:32:08 am »
I bought my GA-Q170M-HD3 for an HTPC system.  I turned off sleep mode in windows settings and told it to never sleep.  Yet it always seems to go to sleep.

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate x64.  It was a bear as Microsoft banned win7 support at first, then changed their mind and gave it a couple years reprieve.  I don't know if it's a Win7 issue or a win7 settings issue or even a driver issue.  I don't see anything else to change though.

Also, when I get it to wake with the power button (USB doesn't wake it) I get constant audio losing connection errors.  Not sure if that is related, but it is annoying.

Is there something I'm missing?

Thanks for any help
