Hi
I'm currently using this motherboard with Pentium G4500 and 2x 4GB od DDR4 ram and lastest bios installed.
My problem is with the Samsung 850 EVO 120GB M.2 SSD drive... it's not beeing recognized @"BIOS" .
Whet using a M.2 to SATA converter the drive works like charm... is there a possibility that we will get a new bios with more M.2 SSD compatibile drives in near future ?? It's quite a bummer...

Did you look in these areas to see if it is showing up?
BIOS Features
Hard Drive/CD/DVD ROM Drive/Floppy Drive/Network Device BBS Priorities
Peripherals
OffBoard SATA Controller Configuration
Displays information on your M.2 PCIe SSD if installed.
NVMe Configuration
Displays information on your M.2 NVME PCIe SSD if installed

Does you drive come under this listing
1 x M.2 Socket 3 connector (Socket 3, M key,
type 2242/2260/2280
SATA & PCIe x4/x2/x1 SSD support.
Plus that drive isn't on the approve list.

The thing is that yes it is a 1151 board but it might not have the support for some of the NVMe SSD's. They basically only did the Z170 boards. More likely they will not do a update to your board seeing they have now come out with the Z270 boards. It might be cheaper to just upgrade to a Z270 board. I have see some down around $110.
