ahci enable mode from bios

ahci enable mode from bios
« on: March 18, 2017, 08:07:55 pm »
hi,
I have windows 7 64bit and I have changed the registry entry to enable the ahci mode without causing the crash after activating via bios AHCI mode.
But by the bios I can not find this option?

Use the P55A-UD3 board

Thanks in advance

See page 24-25 of your manual.  Ensure the drive is connected to the primary SATA controller SATA2_0~5

Now see page 51.  This is where you set the operate mode for the controller, native SATA vs. RAID, IDE & Legacy mode.  Keep in mind that SATA on this chipset is emulated.

Would suggest you install the latest IRST driver since the Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver was for XP.
