I just think Gigabyte boards have compatability issues with all 4 dimms occupied with OCZ stuff.

Hmmm maybe so, but what I meant was with the OCZ gear and Gigabyte boards. I know I had issues with 4x1 gig of the OCZ Flex 9200 1150Mhz ram, wouldn't run stable so I ended up running with corsair 2x2g 8500C5D and haven't looked back.

Well you could try bumping up your (G)  MCH +0.2. Do you have the ram timings set manually or have you left them on auto? If on auto set them maually to what the sticker says on the side of the modules. And also make sure the voltage is set correctly. What is the rated speed for your ram? You may not be able to set it to run at that, you may have to lower your SPD.

So are you actually running the ram at 1150Mhz?

try changing the mutiplier to run it @ 1000Mhz and see if that makes things better.

in my bios i can  set the smp too many things... but i have to know what fsb my cpu runs at its 333 i got that q9650.

when i want to change my smp spd i have to take in consideration that there are 4 thing to choose from.

a = 266 Fsb
B = 333 Fsb
c = 200 Fsb
d = 400 Fsb

so i have to choose within b and i can choose 2.00b = 667Mhz 2.40b = 800 3.20B = 1066...

i was running them at 3.20b and now im testing 2,40b 800mhz... tyoo see if it changes and it still dos the same thing. i dont know what else i can do...:(

8 gigs of RAM is not going to improve gaming.  If your machine is slowing down over time, I'd look at temperatures and make sure you're clean of malware.  If you want to get your 8 gigs working, that's fine but it's not going to improve any game.
