Gigabyte B560 HD3 -- Realtek Audio

Gigabyte B560 HD3 -- Realtek Audio
« on: March 18, 2022, 11:14:23 am »
My desktop has a Gigabyte B560 HD3.
Quite happy with it apart from the fact that I cannot get any of the Gigabyte Realtek Audio drivers to install.
With the default W10 drivers I do have usable audio, but I don't have the Realtek Audio Manager.
If I install from the Gigabyte download I get a reboot loop: Phase 1 runs, request restart, but on restart Phase 1 runs again.
If I try to install the Audio Manager from Realtek I get "no driver supported in this driver package".
Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

Greetings,
Not sure what build of W10 you are running or what "Default" driver you have tried.  There are 2 downloads:

A few people have mentioned the behavior you are referencing.  To resolve, I believe they opened Device Manager and manually removed the RealTek devices, including selecting Delete the drivers for this device (checkbox).  Do not reboot.  Then run the installer, now restart.

but always remember to disconnect from the internet while removing or installing the realtek audio drivers.
never leave open an active internet connection as win10 may silently download & install its own version of the drivers without user consent and messing things up

only after removing the old drivers and installing the new ones, re-establish the internet connection

there are now 3 downloads for OP's B560 HD3 motherboard, including the 6.0.9373.1 version released on 7/25/2022 as I checked the gigabyte web site a while ago
