Just putting it in freezer for a hour or so ???,
Then let it defrost and dry with help of hair dryer, wot you reckon :-\

Err wouldn't risk it personally. If the board wasn't working at all then maybe worth a go. Try doing what I suggested in above post.

i also don't know why it was locked (maybe Pottypete did it) but i have just unlocked it and merged these topics into one
