Hi,
I've recently replaced my Mobo, CPU and RAM with a kit from Overclockers (
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-020-OP), install went alright, once we remembered to give it power
However, when I tried it with a GPU in (ATI HD 5850), it wouldn't give me anything from the onboard graphics, and didn't beep (Which it does when it's working). I removed the GPU, and went into BIOS. I had to change the graphics settings so that it always loads the on-board graphics because it would detect the GPU, but never get past the "beep" point, so I didn't even an output.
I'm now using on-board graphics, and have the GPU in the machine.
It now booted, and Windows wouldn't load, so I re-installed Windows 7, which is fine by me. Now, whenever I install ALL drivers from the included CD, it get's to the Windows loading screen, and then the monitor turns off, I believe (Via a few tests) that it's the INF install utility, because that's when it stops working if I install them one-by-one.
Also, when I install my ATI driver (From the official website), it installs correctly, but then gives me the error "the catalyst control center is not supported by the driver version of your enabled graphics adapter" or another error message about the driver(s).
I've re-installed Windows 7 (Again), and I've got a blank canvas, any ideas? I'm going to go one driver at a time, but would really like to get my ATI drivers working correctly first.
Thanks for reading this long post
