I have a GA-Z68X-UD4-B3, three 64GB Crucial M4s, and a Seagate Barracuda XT. What I'm trying to do is use one of the 64GB SSDs with my 3TB HDD in an Intel Smart Response Technology configuration for my OS and data, and the other two 64GB SSDs in a RAID 0 configuration for my apps and games and stuff. I'm following the
http://download.gigabyte.asia/FileList/Manual/mb_manual_smart-response_e.pdf instructions to the letter, but when it's time to pick a drive to install Windows 7 64 bit on, It says that windows can't be installed on my 3TB HDD nor my 64GB SSD. But it will allow my to install windows on my two SSDs that are in RAID 0.
Intel Z68 Controlled (Set to RAID(XHD) in BIOS)
SATA3_0: 64GB Crucial M4
SATA3_1: 64GB Crucial M4
Marvell 88SE917 Controlled (Set to RAID in BIOS)
GSATA3_6: 3TB Barracuda XT
GSATA3_7: 64GB Crucial M4
I then went back into the BIOS and changed the EFI settings from "Auto" to "Enabled"...now I get a message that says "BOOTMGR Missing"...Do I need to do anything special to get into the EFI? I've never seen the EFI Gui before...can someone write a guide for me to follow? Thanks for your help in advance!
