a friend of mine has told me to contact you as you have a good customer service
i bought this motherboard on the 29 Sept,2011 (Gigabyte X58 G1 Guerilla Intel X58 (Socket 1366) DDR3 Motherboard) , i didnt have a CPU for it and had to save up and purchased a Intel Core i7 990X
last week for my build ,
when i built the system it would not boot into windows , it would boot for 3 seconds and turn off then boot again and so on ,
when i had a look at the socket i have noticed a pin broken ,so i phoned the retailers and explained my findings , there reply was you must of damaged it and i couldn't RMA the motherboard ,with being unemployed £242 is a lot for a motherboard to have it gathering dust , i do reckon this was a customers return and its been sent out to me ,as my friend has the same board and he got the poster and stickers with his and i never.
is there any way i can have the socket repaired and how much would it cost ?
i have been using AMD Gigabyte boards for the past 7 years and never had any problems what so ever until now with this Intel board
