GA-Z68XP-UD3P: no monitor signal with 16GB DDR3

First off, this is a new PC build.  I want to install my OS, but am having issues with getting any monitor signal while trying to boot with all 4 sticks of ram installed on the mobo; PC powers on but just no monitor signal.  However, when only 1 stick is installed I am able to get into bios.  I've been searching different forums and have only found some information on what to do.  Some have suggested to manually set DRAM Frequency, CAS Timing, and DRAM voltage.  Im sure someone has this mobo and memory and had success.  Any help would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

 Generally if theres problems from the onset of a new build ..... we/I suggest Memtest ALL modules one at a time.......10 passes each .... this way the integrity of the Dimms can be ruled out as the problem   .... but for you ..... as you stated you can get it to boot successfully into Bios .... you could load the OS and generally configure the machine first off one stick and tackle the issue secondly .... Two choices! .... better then one!

Memtest86 on flash drive is exactly the procedure .... once unpacked and installed correctly to the thumb drive ..... change the boot priority to the inserted key as you boot the machine up ....no one will argue with a dimm that has passed 10 consecutive passes ..The memorys top knotch so you should be fine with compatibility..... ... use slot one that your manual refers too only.

  Once you have confirmed the memory's all good ...... As these are pretty good matched sets @ 1.5V it might be just a tweak of the Voltage to 1.55 or 1.6V (or higher)....hard to say just yet ..... if you tried the XMP profile ..... if there's a problems off the bat....usually recommended to input the numbers manually (Memory values) .... only critical thing to watch is never let the QPI/VTT (in Bios) fall below 0.5V of the memory voltage....can be higher but not lower ..... onboard controller on the CPU die can be damaged if you flout this point..... in a nut shell .... if you fill/populate all the dimm slots on most boards.....a little extra juice is required.

  One of the reasons it's good to have the OS avalible once memtest is out of the way .... is so you can stress test with apps and get crash-dump/BSOD error codes if it goes tits-up.

  Hope this helps ..... P.S .... grab a beer and read the manual again, ....it'll cut down the questions you feel you need to ask and make the fix quicker

The computer works fine with one stick but not with four; what does it do with two?

If the first 64K RAM is bad, the PC won't POST; test them individually (or in pairs if you can).

If both pairs work when installed independently, try 1333 (or lower and work your way up), then install both pairs.

whitelabellt firstly you don't mention if you have installed a 32 or 64 bit version of Windows. Only the 64 bit version will see more than 4GB of memory.

The  Corsair Vengeance RAM is very good normally and should run fine with your system. The only thing is that when you fill all the slots you put extra pressure on the memory controller and so have to compensate for that. After checking your sticks with Memtest86+ as Allan has suggested and assuming they all pass then you need to increase the QPI/Vtt value in the BIOS. Depending on what it defaults to you will probably need to try something in the region of 1.2 - 1.3v

You will probably get away with sticking to the default memory voltage but it is possible that you will have to increase that as well to maybe 1.55v.
