Hi
I have a
-Gigabyte 990fxa-ud5
-5 x sapphire dual x 7950s (
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102963 )
-AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 3.3GHz
-CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB 240-Pin DDR3
-cooler master 1200w psu (gold standard)
-64gb ssd
-win 7
I have 5 x 16x to 16x risers, and i have them plugged in to 2 - 16x, 2 - 4x, and then ive narrowed down the 5th, non working one to be the 8x slot (there is also a 1x slot avail).
When all are plugged in, the device manager recognizes all 5, but 1 of them has a yellow ! mark and gives the windows code 43 error (windows stopped this device because it has reported problems)
I have disabled everything in the bios that I do not need (front usb, firewire, extra sata slots etc...)
I have some 1x to 16x risers on the way... if I connect that 5th card in the 1x slot using the 1x to 16x riser should that solve my issue?
Also, do I have enough ram for all my cards? I think I read somewhere that I might need more ram for all the cards I am trying to run?
Thanks for the help guys!
