Competition: Show us the oldest working GIGABYTE motherboard and WIN prizes

Hi All

As you know (I hope ) GIGABYTE motherboards are very well known for their reliability and longevity. Therefore show us the pictures of your STILL WORKING AND FUNCTIONAL motherboard. At least these photos will be required to be posted as your reply here:
- the whole PC which has installed GIGABYTE motherboard (it should be working !)
- model name of the motherboard
- serial number (SN)

More pictures and your comments like what do you use it for (i.e. typing machine, internet browser, old games) are more than welcomed.  

The required serial number (for old motherboards) is usually located on or near the CPU socket or last PCI slot on a white strip of sticker with a barcode, see below pictures.







There should be 10 or 12 digits following the letters "SN" on the sticker. Examples: SN0212101492, SN081600803517

The winner (one with the oldest working mobo) will be awarded with GIGABYTE PSU, some nice giveaways (shown in the below post) and 2 GB pendrive!

Competition closes end of May so you have enough time to find the oldest mobo. You can always check with your family, friends & neighbours. So let's start!

P.S. This competition is valid for users from UK and Ireland only.

Damn, I have an old socket A that I just gave away to a customer >.<

I just want the jacket, mug and bag so I can wear em to work with my tools and drink tea at my desk without it goign cold!

Pretty sure it was 1 of these....

Could I get away with my old skt 939 PC? I don't think I have pics of it posting but pics of it powered on and running?

I've got a working P3 board here somewhere, I just need to find a PSU to go with it. It was doing a great job as a media centre and testing box before it got upgraded

pic with POST screen is not required, just pic with running PC + the other 2 which were mentioned already at my first post.

Yes you can start in this competition with your mobo. The number you wrote is NOT serial number, pls read precisely my first post about where to find it and how it looks like.

To post the photos you need to use one of 3rd party picture hosting servers, for instance: http://www.tinypic.com/ , http://www.imageshack.us/, http://www.photobucket.com/, http://www.upload3r.com/, http://www.mediafire.com/, ....(i don't know the other ones but there are for sure   )

How to use such server? first you upload your picture, then server gives you the link to the image to use in the forum. And you put this link into your post using Insert Image button (one row above the faces, the second one from the left).

the results of such posting you can see here for instance (it's completely different topic):
http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php/topic,207.msg711.html#msg711 , he used Imageshack server (you can find it when right clicking at the picture).

It's good to keep the width of max. 768 pixels of each picture, then no need to scroll right/left to see the whole of it, but it's not required of course.

Had to take my mobo out of the case to see the ser no,
It was on the PCI slot on the bottom side
The Ser no is   SN0 343000836,
Well got some of the pics, only hope it all works when rebuilt, to get my screen shot
Is there a Booby Prize for effort!!!

however i can't see the model name on the first picture. could you open your chassis (don't dismount the mobo this time!  ) and take the picture showing model name? Thanks!
