GA-P67A-UD4-B3 Question

I've recently finished assembling a desktop and I'm trying to get into the BIOS and begin setting up all the software.  When I turn the power on, all the fans including the ones on the card turn on and power flows just fine.  The Phase LED lights all light up, but after a few seconds the all go out.  Power remains, the fans continue to spin and the machine stays on, but I was wondering if the lights were supposed to stay lit or if they're suppossed to shut off after a few seconds.

Also, I cannot get the board to POST.

The LEDs are supposed to all light and then go out as POST progresses.

Have you got a buzzer installed ? If so does it make any beeps ? If not why not ?

Have you installed all the power cables to the motherboard ie 24 pin, 8 pin near the CPU ?

Yes, the power supply and every other cable is connected to the board and there were no beeps, all the hardware is properly installed.  I've tried getting it to POST without any peripherals connected (that is, only the fans and the power supply plugged into the board) and nothing appears on my monitor with this configuration nor when all hardware is installed.  The LED's lighting up seem to indicate the processor is working, so I suspect the problem may be with the board itself.  Is this a logical conclusion?

check if your ram & video card are properly seated and it wouldn't hurt to re check your cpu and cooler
have you plugged in the 8 pin power cord from your psu to the motherboard

Lovecat you still didn't answer my question regarding the buzzer. Do you have one installed ?

I do not have a buzzer installed unless one comes with the motherboard.

In that case there is no way that you will hear any POST beeps then. I would suggets that you purchase one and fit it immediately as they cost only a few pence and can make all the difference when faultfinding.
