Will Gigabyte release new BIOSes that unlock only one core instead of two?

ASUS has just released new BIOS versions for its AM3 motherboard line up that allows you to unlock the third or fourth core on the Phenom II X2. When you are unsuccessful unlocking both, you can have a try unlocking either one separately.

Will Gigabyte create new BIOS versions that also do this for their AM3 boards with AMD 700 series chipsets?

Yes it would be good to be able to attempt a core unlocks independently.

 I have a 550 BE and after I unlock 1 of the new cores seems to be failing on prime and crashing the system even if I set the multiplier to 5x. If I could attempt to unlock the other one only I think it might actually work.

As it is I'm stuck with two cores only.

Guess I got what I paid for.

Can I unlock only one core with F1 ? I've used only F3 and F4 bios versions.

I set EC to hybrid and ACC to Auto.

Can you recommend me what ACC values I should try per core (positives /negatives higher/lower ) ?

Hi,
I cannot recommend any settings for the ACC values, each chip is different,
That is a hands on job that you will have to suck and see, google is your friend here,
The default is -2 and It is used to allow a core to be tweaked without a voltage increase as some of the diabled cores can be a bit ropey,
This may have been why they were disabled in the first place,
