You are talking about the GI.Assassin2 by the sound of things with the gun heatsink. This is a LGA2011 socket motherboard which will take the new SandyBridge- E series processors.  It will be far from cheap but it will also be the fastest thing around I am sure! So start saving the pennies now. It should be due out very soon as from my sources Intel have cut back a bit on the spec to enable an earlier launch date than originally expected.

yup its around £430 to £470 depending on where you order it from ! amazon was cheapest .
there even giving 3 year warranty on the board there that confident .

i dont understand why its at rev 12 on it launch , or are there 11 other assassin boards .

i seen its a new chip to , but after reading about it and its reviews im having that board and chip .
i spend loads on this one , and the kids want this one .

all im taking out this one is the ssd and PSU if it will run the new board .

thanks DM

Can you post a link to the board as the only one I can find on Amazon is the original GA-Assassin 1366 socket version.
